Day 1. Arrival at Tbilisi Airport
Our representative will meet you at the international airport. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in.

Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2. Excursion in Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour. We will start our visit from the Old Town of Tbilisi with the Metekhi Church (XIII century). Later, we will visit the Narikala fortress (IV century) - one of the oldest fortifications of the city. We continue our way to Anchiskhati Church (VI c.), Sioni Cathedral (XII c.) and the synagogue. Then we will visit the treasury of the Georgian National Museum and the Museum of Soviet Occupation. Then we will walk along the main shopping street of Tbilisi - Rustaveli Avenue, as well as Pushkin Street. After lunch, we will head to the Avlabari district, where the secret house-museum of I. Stalin's Underground Printing House is located. Before dinner, we will walk along Agmashebeli Street, where you can find many interesting old houses, one of them is the house where Leo Tolstoy lived and where he wrote several of his books. It is also possible to visit the Russian school in Tbilisi and interact with local students.

Day 3. Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Gori
After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to Mtskheta, the ancient capital and religious centre of Georgia, where we will visit the Jvari Church (VI century) and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (XI century), both UNESCO heritage sites. Near the Jvari church you can see a monument to the Russian writer Lermontov. Later, we drive to Gori, the birthplace of Stalin. In Gori we will visit the cave city of Uplistikhe and Stalin's house-museum. Return to Tbilisi and free evening.

Day 4. Tbilisi - Kazbegi - Tbilisi
We are going to the north of the country along the Georgian Military Highway, where we will make our first stop at the Ananuri architectural complex. Near the Gudauri ski resort, we will also visit the Arch of Friendship, an architectural monument of the 20th century, which depicts scenes from Georgian and Russian history. We head further north to Kazbegi, during the journey you will enjoy magnificent landscapes and views of the mountains of the Greater Caucasus. In Kazbegi we will transfer to jeeps and go up the hill to the Gergeti Trinity Church (14th century), located at an altitude of 2170 m. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel in Tbilisi. Free evening.

Day 5. Sighnaghi - Bodbe - Tbilisi
After breakfast, we will drive to the wine-growing region of Kakheti, where we will visit the Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino, a woman who preached Christianity in Georgia in the 4th century BC. We continue our journey and in Tsinandali we will visit the House-Museum of the Georgian Prince Alexander Chavchavadze. His father was the Georgian ambassador to Russia. Return to Tbilisi. Dinner in a traditional restaurant accompanied by folk dancing and/or singing. 

Overnight in Tbilisi. Breakfast, dinner.

Day 6. Tbilisi
End of the programme. Airport transfer.
